Transmits the filtered light used for NBI. The light source (CLV-290SL/CLV-290) has a rotating filter wheel that selectively passes blue and green light.

The fiber bundle is designed to be highly durable and flexible within the insertion tube to withstand repeated bending, insertion, and sterilization cycles without significant light loss (attenuation).
